  I find the staff at Altnagelvin very attentive and hard working. The Surgeons are approachable and friendly. Staff work tirelessly to keep appointment with patient's. A & E staff work as a team to have patients seen and treated. The inpatient care is second to none! People seem to turn up for the least thing. That needs to change! People should Have a passport or proven photo ID to prove Treatment Status. Non UK residents must understand treatment and services used must be charged for at the time of treatment through prepaid Medical Insurance, or valid payment transfer system, or current medical card. Proof of ID must be provided by all who seek treatment. This is forced upon us by Health Tourists, from abroad. Preserve our NHS and Staff for generations to come, by proving our commitment to report patient fraudsters, abuse of access to our NHS.

  We were traveling in Northern Ireland and my wife had an retina issue. We were treated very well in the urgent care area by the doctor, eye specialist referred to and ultimately through the laser procedure performed by Dr. Orakzai. They were all very caring, considerate, thorough and provided excellent care up to and including the transfer to the hospital in Belfast. We thank them all very much for their professionalism and care/concern.
